Tasting Australia:

A Bridge Between South Australia and Tasmania

On Sunday, the 17th of May, Station Road is to host a Dalrymple lunch hosted by Pete Caldwell. During this lunch, guests will be able to indulge in a 4-course menu matched to 8 Dalrymple wines.

Tasmania’s rugged coastal beauty and cool climate terrain first ignited a passionate pursuit to craft the perfect single site wines back in 1987. Such inspired the founding of Dalrymple Vineyards on the sloping hill of Pipers River, overlooking the Bass Strait. Since then, people around the world have fallen in love with the Tasmanian landscape, wild and breathtaking, and the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that thrives there.

From every patch of land comes the demand for meticulous attention that, when granted, awards exceptional wines. Mother Nature calls the shots, and you can taste it. During this lunch, a menu featuring South Australian produce will be paired with a selection of Dalrymple wines while Pete will take a deep dive into the similarities and the differences in terroir, climate and wine regions between these two great states.
